The Audio Follow Video Preamplier (SP3-AFVP+) works in conjunction with the SmartPanel, allowing you to maintain seamless control over audio as you jump from one source selection to the next. view larger image.		Sound and Vision: The fine art of keeping audio and video together at the touch of button. The SmartPanel can handle your audio needs in a variety of ways. Want to use the projector speakers? The SmartPanel can control projector volume directly. Want to use an external sound system? The Audio Follow Video Preamp (SP3-AFVP+) seamlessly integrates audio switching and volume control into the SmartPanel interface. The AFVP is designed to offer installers the utmost flexibility when incorporating external audio systems into the design of a room. It is a complete solution designed to address not only the issues of sound quality but also sound control. This means that your users will never have to worry about being seen and not heard. Maximize your flexibility when designing your audio system. To integrate the SmartPanel volume control with an external amplifier or amplified speakers, route your audio through the AFVP+ preamp/switcher. This 5x1 stereo audio switcher brings one line-level balanced output to your amplifier. The SmartPanel provides volume control and input switching. Plug it in and it's ready to go. Configure it, and you gain access to advanced features and can tailor the sound of each channel. A fifth audio input allows use of the audio system without turning on the projector. A mix input mixes in signals from a microphone preamp downstream of switching and volume control for a constant mic signal. The AFVP+ also includes a 4x1 composite video or 2x1 S-Video switcher tied to input selection on the Panel. More sound options. The SmartPanel is a good fit for Cambridge amplified speakers. A perfect, low-cost solution for small-to-mid-sized rooms. The SP2-AMP is designed for secure mounting to the bottom of the SmartBox+ mounting system. It is available in 50 watts per channel, 100 watts per channel, or 100 watts at a 70 volt output. A simple connection to the AFVP+ and you're ready to go. Back to Product Overview

Self-powered speakers can be an inexpensive and effective solution for providing external audio. More powerful and complex call for more robust amplification, such as that provided by our SmartAmp, which is especially designed to fit our SmartBox mounting system.
