Networked Room Controller AmpLINC™
and AmpLINC Amplifier Puck
SP Controls introduces a revolutionary new concept in scalable, user-configurable networked control solutions with the NRC AmpLINC system, which provides full room control plus the addition of audio. It is a fully integrated AV control system that allows the user to control all of the audio-visual equipment in the room, and sits on a network so it can be centrally maintained and managed. The NRC AmpLINC integrates audio control, streaming audio and amplification. It gives the user independent control over the playback volume and microphone volume (when using a 3rd party mic system). The new NRC AmpLINC not only makes technology control easier than ever to use, it centralizes many of the functions that previously had to be handled with multiple devices.
The NRC AmpLINC features include:
- Simplified mounting: Its innovative V-Notch™ design allows for pole-mounting at the projector.
- Easy control: Any SP Controls button panel can be used for in-room control.
- New iPad App: Control your equipment wirelessly with our new iPad app, available soon from the iTunes store. Compatible with all SP Controls' Networked Room Controllers.
- Distributed amplification: Innovative new AmpLINC Amplifier Pucks daisy-chain using CAT5 cable and attach to the back of 8-Ohm speakers, saving installation time and costs.
- Streaming audio in and out: Networked audio allows the authorized administrator to make announcements or sound bells or buzzers, with automatic ducking of room audio so the announcements can easily be heard with our "priority audio" feature. A built-in microphone allows for monitoring of a specific room or rooms by authorized administrators in case of emergency.
- Compatible with NRC Control Pucks: Expand the already extensive capabilities of the NRC AmpLINC with Control Puck accessories for RS-232, IR and Relay.
The NRC AmpLINC includes:
- 2 IR ports on Phoenix type connectors
- 2 bi-directional RS-232 ports on Phoenix type connectors
- 4 low-voltage relays on Phoenix type connectors
- 2 general-purpose sense ports
- 1 line-level stereo output for use with traditional amps
- 4 CAT5 connections for connecting AmpLINC pucks
